Most people know REHAB. for its hair oils in capsules, its hair milk and its heatless curlers. Fewer know that the brand has built a full body care line called Retreat. With winter on the way, cold air outside and central heating inside can leave skin feeling dry and tight, so this is a good moment to look at it.

Our earlier REHAB. posts focused on hair: scalp care, choosing a hair oil and heatless styling. This guide is only about the body. We put together a simple routine using products from the REHAB. Retreat range, with prices and descriptions taken from rehabyourhair.com on 4 November 2026. Prices can change, so check the shop before you order.

Step 1: Exfoliate Once or Twice a Week

REHAB. Retreat Scalp and Body Scrub jar with pre-dosed scrub balls

Dry winter skin often looks dull because dead cells build up. The Retreat Scalp & Body Scrub (GBP 22.00) comes pre-dosed and, according to REHAB., combines sugar and sea salt crystals to gently exfoliate, while coconut oil, shea butter and hyaluronic acid nourish and hydrate. It is a two-in-one product: the brand suggests using it on the scalp to clear excess sebum and flakes, or on the body to smooth texture.

REHAB. Retreat bamboo body brush with vegan bristles

If you prefer dry brushing, the Retreat Body Brush (GBP 16.00) is made from bamboo with medium, vegan bristles. REHAB. says it buffs away dead skin and boosts circulation for smoother, firmer-looking skin. Many people brush before showering, using long strokes towards the heart, and keep the pressure gentle on sensitive areas.

    Step 2: Cleanse Without Stripping

Hot showers feel great in winter, but harsh body washes can make dryness worse. The Retreat Bath & Shower Milk (330ml, GBP 18.00) has a milky texture and is described as cleansing without drying. It is enriched with jojoba, macadamia and camellia seed oils, shea butter and vitamin E, with a calming jasmine scent. For a slower evening, REHAB. also sells jasmine-scented Retreat Bath Pearls (GBP 17.60) with grapeseed, sweet almond and jojoba oil.

Step 3: Lock In Moisture With Body Milk

Apply moisturiser while skin is still slightly damp. The Retreat Body Milk (GBP 20.00) is a fast-absorbing lotion with a lightweight milky texture. REHAB. says it contains hyaluronic acid, ceramides and probiotics to hydrate, repair and balance the skin microbiome. It is a good everyday choice if you dislike heavy creams under winter layers.

A simple way to build the habit is to keep the body milk next to your towel rather than in a cupboard. If it is the first thing you see after a shower, you are far more likely to use it every day, and consistency matters more than any single product during the coldest months of the year.

Step 4: Add a Dose Body Oil

REHAB. Retreat Dose Hydrate Body Oil jar with pink capsules

This is where Retreat links back to the brand’s famous capsules. The Dose Hydrate Body Oil (GBP 28.00) uses supersized capsules packed with grapeseed, sweet almond, jojoba and marula oils. REHAB. says you can use it alone or layer it over the Body Milk for extra results, which is a useful trick on very dry legs and arms.

For party season, the Dose Glow Body Oil (GBP 26.00) adds a golden shimmer. Its blend of sea buckthorn, olive fruit and meadowfoam oils is designed to moisturise and give a luminous glow. There is also a Dose Energise Body Oil (GBP 28.00) with matcha and vitamin C, aimed at dull, tired-looking skin.

Step 5: Finish With a Gua Sha Massage

REHAB. Retreat Body Gua Sha used on the leg

The Retreat Body Gua Sha (GBP 16.00) is a lightweight tool that REHAB. says helps stimulate circulation, release muscle tension and reduce the appearance of puffiness. Used over a body oil, it glides easily and turns your routine into a few minutes of self-massage at the end of the day.

Tips for a Better Winter Routine

    • Keep showers warm rather than very hot to avoid drying your skin further.
    • Exfoliate only once or twice a week, and skip it on irritated skin.
    • Moisturise within a few minutes of getting out of the shower.
    • Layer oil over lotion on very dry areas such as shins and elbows.
    • Patch test new products if you have sensitive skin.

    Buying Tips

If you want several steps at once, REHAB. sells bundles such as the Retreat Body Milk & Body Oil Bundle, listed at GBP 38.40 instead of GBP 48.00, and the Time to Retreat Set, listed at GBP 60.00 instead of GBP 120.00 at the time of writing. Bundles can be a good gift too, as the season of present shopping begins.

    Final Thoughts

REHAB.’s Retreat range turns a quick shower into a small winter ritual: scrub or brush, a gentle shower milk, a light body milk and a capsule body oil, finished with a gua sha. You do not need every product to start; a body milk and one Dose oil already cover the basics. Browse the full range on rehabyourhair.com and check the latest REHAB. bundles before you buy.
