Cordless vacuums are now the first choice in many UK homes, but the choice is wide. Do you want an upright that stands on a charging base, a lighter stick that turns into a handheld, or a small hand vac for the car and the stairs? Gtech sells all three, and the product pages list runtimes, bin sizes and prices in a way that makes them easy to compare.
This guide goes through four popular models: the AirRAM 3, the AirRAM 3 Plus, the AirFOX Platinum and the Multi. All the details come from the Gtech UK website as we saw it on 28 October 2026 and the claims are the brand’s own. You can see the current range on the Gtech website.

Upright, Stick or Handheld?
The first question is how you plan to use the vacuum. An upright is built for floors: it stands by itself, sits on a base and does most of the work in the living room, hallway and bedrooms. A stick or cylinder style suits people who want to reach above the floor too, for example curtains, sofas and the car. A handheld is the fastest option for crumbs, pet hair on the stairs and the inside of the car.
Many homes end up with two machines, one for floors and one small one. Gtech also sells bundles that pair an upright with a handheld, which can cost less than buying both separately.
AirRAM 3: The Floor-First Upright
The AirRAM 3 is described by Gtech as its best cordless vacuum. It has a 20V lithium-ion battery that runs for up to 30 minutes on full power and charges on its base in under three hours, with no power settings to change. Features listed by the brand include self propulsion, which pulls the machine forward, LED headlights, dual edge-clean brushes for corners and skirting boards, and an anti-hair-wrap brush bar with soft bristles.
The brand also highlights a vibrating filter that cleans itself to reduce maintenance, and a 700 ml bin with a slide mechanism for emptying. Gtech says to use it on dry surfaces only. The AirRAM 3 was listed at GBP 399.99, with free next day delivery and a two-year warranty.
AirRAM 3 Plus: Same Machine, Voice Alerts
The AirRAM 3 Plus has the same core features and adds Voice Assist, which gives audio updates such as reminders to recharge or to check for blockages. The brand says the voice can be switched on or off by holding the power button for five seconds. It was listed at GBP 419.99, so the extra feature costs GBP 20 more than the standard model at the time we looked.
There is also a limited edition pink AirRAM 3, which Gtech says supports breast cancer care at Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven. It was listed at GBP 319.99, reduced from GBP 399.99.
AirFOX Platinum: The 2-in-1 Stick
The AirFOX Platinum is a bagless cordless stick vacuum that converts from upright to handheld. Gtech lists three modes: ECO for up to 80 minutes of runtime, AUTO for about 45 minutes and MAX for continuous full suction. The brand also lists a 450W brushless motor, an anti-hair-wrap brush bar, a digital display and a 0.4 L bin.
It comes with a wall-mounted charger and tools, including a small power brush head, a flexible hose, a crevice tool, a dusting tool and an upholstery tool. The AirFOX Platinum was listed at GBP 199.99, reduced from GBP 299.99.
Multi: The Grab-and-Go Handheld
The Multi is a cordless handheld vacuum. The brand says it weighs 1.5 kg, runs for up to 20 minutes on a 22V battery and has a powered brush bar, an LED headlight and a latch to empty the bin. The crevice tool, dusting brush and extension tube are included. It was listed at GBP 135.99, reduced from GBP 169.99.
Gtech also offers a car accessory kit with three extra attachments, which suits anyone who wants to use the Multi mainly in the car or caravan.

Which One Suits Which Home?
- Mostly hard floors and carpets in a medium-sized home: the AirRAM 3, which is designed to run on full power with no settings.
- Larger home or a need to reach above the floor: the AirFOX Platinum, thanks to the longer ECO runtime and the handheld conversion.
- Stairs, sofas and the car: the Multi, which is small enough to keep by the door.
- A tight budget: start with the Multi or the reduced AirFOX Platinum and add an upright later.
Bundles and Delivery
Gtech lists bundles such as the Platinum Duo, which pairs an anti-hair-wrap upright with a handheld. It was listed at GBP 399.98, reduced from GBP 619.98, and a Duo bundle was listed at GBP 249.98, reduced from GBP 399.98. Each product page we checked showed free next day delivery and a two-year warranty, and the homepage mentioned October savings across floorcare, garden, power tools and hair care.
Tips Before You Buy
- Measure the space where the base or wall mount will go.
- Check the weight if you will carry the vacuum upstairs.
- Remember that quoted runtimes depend on the mode and the floor type.
- Look at how the bin empties, because this is the job you will do most often.
- Read the current price and delivery terms on the product page before you order.
